A little secret concerning sick babies.

Lately I've been noticing a trend on Facebook, Twitter, and even in a parenting magazine I was reading in the doctor's waiting room.
Many parents secretly enjoy it when their baby or child is sick. Surprised? I was, a little bit. One thing I noticed was that all of these parents were parents of baby or little boys and it's only surprising until you hear the reason why they enjoy their little one's sick time. It's because the little guys are more snuggly and cuddly than when they're not sick. Of course none of these parents wants their child to suffer, but they take their snuggles where they can! Do you have a baby or little boy? Do you secretly enjoy when he's under the weather?

  1. Oh my god NO!! My girls are little hardnuts and get on with it. My boy drives me mad with the whinging and crying and moaning. I love him to bits but he's a pain the ass when he's ill! Not that they are ill that often (fingers crossed!).

    1. Haha! I love it. :) I'm glad to hear that Coco will likely be a little hardnut and get on with it when she's sick. Sounds good! xo

  2. I can definitely relate. When my two year old is sick or nervous, he will snuggle against me endlessly, and I love that feeling! On normal/healthy days (which, of course, are preferable), a snuggle is hit or miss :)

    1. So sweet! I love hearing mamas talk about their babies, toddlers and children. It's true they're always our babies, isn't it?! :)

  3. Haha! I just had the similar idea as my facebook status yesterday. Of course I want Hazel healthy but if she is sick, I will gladly hold her all day long if she likes.
