My Birthday Wish List

My birthday is less than two weeks away. And this year, I'm determined not to let it get swallowed up by Coco's birthday. That little darling was born two days after my birthday in 2011 and it's been a challenge to have our birthdays so close ever since. Yesterday, I finished planning her party, and now I'm ready to start thinking about my own.

Here's what's on my wishlist:

1. Smart, timeless blazer to wear with jeans and flats (similar) // 2. Glossier Boy Brow to give my brows some oomph // 3. Instax Polaroid Camera (and film!) because memories // 4. Slouchy Birkenstock booties for stomping through crunching leaves (I also love these) // 5. Dior Cheek & Lip Glow to have that flushed sick child look all winter long - minus the fever ;) (similar) // 6. L&J pillowcases I love that they say Good Night on the back // 7. A preorder copy of the new Domino book to flip through for inspiration // 8. A giant 1 liter size bkr bottle in the coolest new color // 9. The most striking Marimekko duvet covers to take us into winter

What's on your fall wish list? Or maybe you have a fall birthday, too? Apparently more people are born in September than any other month!

  1. Poor Isaiah. Our baby girl was born two days before his birthday. This year we will celebrate her first birthday, so we are all excited! Then on Isaiah's birthday we will take our son to have his first cavity filled. I feel so bad. I keep reminding him of the BIG surprise 30th birthday I threw for him so long ago. Ha. Maybe I should organize another little surprise outing just the two of us.

I really want some cozy wool sweaters!

    1. OMG. The filling part made me laugh out loud. Nothing says welcome to adulthood quite like that! Poor Isaiah, indeed. ;) Hopefully the filling goes well. Coco loved the strawberry flavored laughing gas they gave her. She'd like to go back and have another!

Definitely plan an outing for his birthday - and I second the cozy wool sweaters! xo

  2. In our family of four our birthdays are almost perfectly spaced out through the year (not planned, just a fluke!) and it's funny how special it makes each season feel knowing we have a different person to celebrate. Good luck with the prep for your shindigs.

    1. Well done, Tilly! We have this delicious breakfast casserole we love to make. We make it in March for St. Pat's, June for Father's Day, September for our birthdays and December for Christmas. But all the birthdays are clumped together for the most part! ;) haha.

  4. Your thoughts are uniquely yours. Your wishes are not conceived by anyone else's mind. You may have been influenced by some external idea, but you are responsible for your wishes, whether you acknowledge the fact. Your thoughts are formed by experiences and needs that no one else could not possibly know. wish
